Echoing the words of President Ronald Reagan, who warned that freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction, AFLC Co-Founder and Senior Counsel Robert delivered a rousing speech yesterday at the Stand Up for Religious Freedom rally in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where several thousand patriotic Americans joined thousands more all across the Nation to oppose the Obama administration’s contraception mandate.
AFLC is on the front lines of the battle to stop the Obama administration’s unconstitutional mandate, which requires employers to provide insurance plans that include coverage for contraception, sterilization, abortifacients, and related education and counseling. Shortly after the mandate was announced, AFLC filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services on behalf of Priests for Life, a national pro-life organization, challenging its constitutionality.
